Nothing beats enjoying this festive time of year with your soul dog. Here are our favourite activities to do with your dog during the autumn season.

  • Nature walks: Take your dog on leisurely walks through the scenic beauty of fall foliage. The cooler temperatures make for comfortable strolls, and your pup will relish the chance to explore the crunching leaves beneath their paws. Remember to snap a pic of to capture these new memories. Our fall bandana rec for this activity is "Bf flannel bandana"

  • Visit a pumpkin patch: Visit a local pumpkin patch and bring your dog along. Let them join in the fun as you search for the perfect pumpkin, and consider taking a cute fall-themed photo together.  Below are dog friendly pumpkin patches in Ontario. Our fall bandana rec for this activity is our "spook bandana"
    • Chudleigh's in Halton Hills
    • Andrew's Scenic Acres in Milton (Fun fact I used to work here)
    • The Apple Orchard in Hamilton
    • Pingles Farm Market in Hampton

  • Visit an apple orchard: Many apple orchards allow well-behaved dogs on a leash. Enjoy a day of apple picking and treat your dog to a crisp apple slice as a tasty and healthy snack. Our fall bandana rec for this activity is our "autumn bandana". Some of our favourite dog friendly spots are:
    • Tall Post Cider in Hamilton
    • Andrews Scenic acres in Milton

  • Movie night in: If you're more of a homebody no worries, stay in with your doggo and enjoy a cozy movie night. Snuggle up with some blankets and make sure to bake some sweets for you and your pup made with pumpkins. Fun fact, did you know pumpkin has many health benefits for your pup? It promotes digestive health, is nutrient rich, hydrating, supports the immune system & has antioxidant properties. We've attached a pumpkin treat recipe below that you can bake with your doggo this fall season. FALL DOG TREAT RECIPE our fall bandana rec for this is our check me out bandana, fun fact our new fabric is super cozy! Your dog will love snuggling up in it during your movie night.

  • Pet friendly patios, cidery or brewery: Many wineries and breweries now welcome dogs on their outdoor patios. Enjoy some locally crafted beverages while your dog relaxes at your feet. It's a win-win for both of you! Some cool places even host dog events & have a special menu for your furry friend. Our fall bandana rec for this activity is our "tuck bandana". Our favourites are:
    • Lock street brewing
    • West avenue cider house
    • Grain & Gritt

  • Pet friendly stores: recently I've been all about reading and my favourite book store is actually pet friendly. Did you know you can bring your pup with you to Indigo? How amazing! So grab a starbucks PSL & pupcup and browse the store with your pal. Another pet friendly store is winners & homesense! Because these stores have a pet section you can actually bring them with you. So shop till you drop for all the cute dog toys & home decor while letting your pup take in all the smells. Our recommendation for fall bandanas for this outing is our coven bandana.

  • A cozy walk: why not partake in your dogs favourite activity? Grab a nice warm beverage, bundle up and put a bandana on your dog and walk around your neighbourhood. I find it so easy to see the beauty around me as the seasons change. Your dog will probably enjoy this activity the most out of all the options mentioned.

Fall is a magical season, and sharing it with your canine companion can make it even more special. Whether you're exploring the great outdoors, savouring autumn flavours, or simply snuggling up indoors, these fall activities are bound to strengthen the bond between you and your dog while creating beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. So grab fall bandana, your leash, put on a cozy sweater, and embark on an adventure-filled autumn with your furry friend by your side.
